Performance was kind of slow. Took a while to work. But it does the job good. A lot of reaction.
This product definitely removes 85-90 percent of brake dust. Some times i had to apply multiple times with scrubbing to get the results. It smells really bad, i had to wear mask. Overall, great product it does the job.
I've typically used a national brand traditional wheel cleaner, without the "iron neutralizer" technology. Recently I ordered two brands of "iron remover wheel cleaner" from Amazon to try. I just cleaned the right wheels on my car with Swift and the left wheels with the other "iron remover" cleaner. By the way, both cleaners cost the same here on Amazon. The results were surprising!The Swift iron remover wheel cleaner performed exactly as claimed and did a great job. After washing the car I sprayed the two cleaners on their respective pairs of wheels and the Swift swiftly started turning purple, as shown in my attached photo. Although it claimed it would turn purple as well, it never changed color at all, although it did foam up a bit during the rinse off. I then applied Swift iron remover to the wheels that had just been cleaned with another brand iron remover and .... I saw the same purple slime running down the wheels and after rinsing the wheels looked great.This is the third car care product from Swift that I've tried and all have exceeded expectations. The Swift interior detailer is also fantastic!
This Iron remover works well. I rinsed my wheels, then applied iron remover, I sprayed it on and let it set for a few minutes, the liquid is clear but after a minute it started to turn purple, I cleaned it by hand wearing gloves and used a rag to rub it around the wheel and used a pressure washer. Years of brake dust and road grime came off, left wheel clean. Im pleased with the results, I recommend this product. As you can see a little goes a long way as the residue on the driveway cleaned the driveway with the pressure washer.
This product works really well! It definitely stinks really bad, but all iron removers do. I sprayed it on my wheels first and as the iron dissolved, the product turned purple which was really cool to see.
I also applied it to the exterior of my car and saw the iron deposits on my paint start to turn purple and dissolve. It was definitely satisfying to see my car being decontaminated! I recommend this product, just wear a mask and gloves when applying.
